This initiative supports President Trump’s Executive Order accelerating medical treatments for serious mental illness, focusing on workforce training, clinical protocols, real-world evidence collection, and system-wide preparation for safe implementation.

Key points of the MOU are as follows:

• “Increasing participation in clinical research on promising rapid-acting mental health treatments for veterans

• Training therapists, nurses, physicians, and other clinicians to safely administer future FDA-approved rapid-acting psychiatric drug products

These proposals would remove the restriction noting unestablished safety and efficacy for age-related hypogonadism, narrow the prostate cancer contraindication to only metastatic cases (with continued screening and monitoring), and revise benign prostatic hyperplasia warnings to indicate that therapy does not typically worsen symptoms.

So the authors were essentially warning pregnant women about stopping antidepressants - while they were being paid significant amounts of money by Pharma. The JAMA article also made no mention whatsoever of the issue of SSRI withdrawal. Symptoms after stopping were deemed relapse. And now, 20 years later, the original JAMA article is online & still lacks accurate financial disclosures & the correction the journal originally issued.”

1. HHS, USDA, and EPA Release Memo on Heavy Metals and Other Contaminants in Food

A joint memorandum on reducing the presence of heavy metals and other contaminants in food was jointly released by HHS, USDA, and EPA.

The memorandum is designed to enhance efficiency through interagency information sharing, mutual consultation, joint sampling and testing programs (including FSIS’s National Residue Program), development of analytical methods, establishment of tolerances/action levels, and coordinated regulatory responses to potential violations.

FSIS holds primary responsibility for inspected products from slaughter to consumer, FDA oversees animal drugs, pre-slaughter animals, and most other foods while investigating violations, and EPA regulates pesticides and sets related tolerances under FIFRA and the FD&C Act.

According to Secretary Kennedy, “Protecting Americans from harmful contaminants in food is a core priority of the Trump Administration. Assistant Secretary for ACF Alex J. Adams announced that all 50 states are now part of the “A Home for Every Child” initiative. According to Assistant Secretary Adams, “When we launched A Home for Every Child...we knew states were ready...Fifty states joining this initiative sends a powerful message: America is ready to rally around children in foster care and the families who step forward for them.”

A Home for Every Child is an ACF initiative with advocacy from the First Lady that focuses on improving the current ratio of 57 approved foster homes per 100 children through reduced paperwork, streamlined data sharing, and state flexibility in recruitment, retention, and entry prevention.

Under the terms of the program, states report monthly progress in exchange for reporting relief, with a $7 million competition rewarding the best improvements, tied to federal child welfare modernization priorities.

USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins expressed support for an EPA proposal to roll back stringent Biden-era heavy-duty truck emissions regulations, a move officials state will save the trucking industry an estimated $12 billion and lower consumer costs for everyday goods.

The new proposal eases costly vehicle warranty mandates and eliminates restrictive Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) engine speed caps (often referred to as "limp mode" ) that previously stranded truckers and farmers during system errors, replacing them with standard dashboard warnings instead. While retaining nearly 90% of planned nitrogen oxide (NOx) emission reductions, the shift aims to lower the price of new trucks by up to $6,000 each and improve supply chain reliability by scaling back what critics labeled as government overreach.

According to an official announcement from USDA, “$1.625 billion is available to specialty crop farmers through USDA’s Assistance for Specialty Crop Farmers program. These payments provide financial support to allow producers to pay for production and marketing inputs in the face of significant market disruptions and elevated input costs during the 2025 growing season. Enrollment is open through August 7, 2026.”

Secretary Kennedy and CMS Administrator Dr. Oz officially launched the Make Hospital Food Healthier Pledge. Hospitals throughout the country were invited to sign the pledge to serve healthy food to patients.

2. Anti-Fraud Taskforce Identifies Thousands of Suspicious Medicare Claims

Vice President Vance announced further measures to crack down on healthcare fraud in his capacity as the chair of the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud.

According to the Vice President, the task force has identified a 7,100% surge in Medicare claims for tissue and organ transplants (allografts), rising from $200 million in 2019 to $14.4 billion in 2025. This includes thousands of suspicious claims totaling hundreds of millions, and the task force has denied 96% of potentially fraudulent ones since March, blocking nearly $220 million in questionable skin substitute payments alone. The crackdown also includes suspending or revoking billing privileges for hundreds of Durable Medical Equipment suppliers, aiming to protect taxpayers and patients from widespread fraud.

Later, the Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Kelly Loeffler, stated, “In addition to the enforcement actions announced by Vice President Vance today in Wisconsin, SBA is also suspending 7,800 Wisconsin borrowers tied to $375 million in suspected pandemic fraud. In total, we have now suspended over 150,000 PPP and EIDL borrowers tied to over $10 billion in potential fraud — and we’re just getting started thanks to the White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud.”

The non-profit group Stand For Health Freedom announced their endorsement of the proposed People Over Poison Act. According to the group, “Days after the Supreme Court handed Bayer-Monsanto total immunity to mass poison Americans with glyphosate, Reps. Thomas Massie and Chellie Pingree introduced the People Over Poison Act. This bill would overrule the Supreme Court’s decision and restore your right to sue pesticide companies in state courts for failing to warn about the risks of pesticides.”

According to journalist Paul D. Thacker, growing scrutiny and a high-stakes standoff have intensified around the NIH’s Rocky Mountain Laboratories over its gain-of-function research on dangerous pathogens. Thacker asserts that current safety protocols are fundamentally flawed.

Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) made the following statement, which the HHS labeled as false: “RFK Jr.’s HHS is terminating millions in teen pregnancy prevention grants – including a $5 million grant that was awarded to the King County Department of Public Health.”

HHS hit back with the following clarifying statement: “That King County program asked 12-year-olds to consider the question: ‘How can I help my partner enjoy sex more?’ We’re not funding that, Congresswoman.”

2. Education Secretary Linda McMahon Discusses HHS Partnership to Help Disabled Children

According to Education Secretary McMahon, “ED and HHS partnership is intended to improve programs for individuals with disabilities and maximize the coordination of federal resources to better serve infants, toddlers, children, youth, and students with disabilities and their families.”

3. USDA Secretary Highlights SNAP Fraud Takedown Involving Illegal Aliens

USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins announced that two illegal alien brothers have pleaded guilty to a $760,000 multi-state SNAP fraud scheme.

The brothers allegedly used stolen EBT card data to create counterfeit cards and drain benefits across states, diverting funds intended for needy Americans. Working with the Justice Department, the USDA is holding fraudsters accountable to protect taxpayer dollars and restore program integrity, encouraging public reports of suspected nutrition fraud.

4. HHS Supports President Trump’s Ground Beef Price Plan

Following negotiations with Walmart, President Trump announced that the company will slash the price of ground beef by 15%.

1. SAMHSA Launches Over $281 Million in Grants for Addiction, Overdose, Mental Health, and Recovery Efforts

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced more than $281 million in funding opportunities across 15 grant programs to support President Trump’s Great American Recovery Initiative.

These investments aim to expand access to substance use disorder treatment, overdose prevention, mental health and suicide prevention services, trauma-informed care, integrated behavioral and physical health, recovery supports, first responder training, and workforce development.

Major allocations include $68.2 million for medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, $55.7 million for school-based mental health programs (Project AWARE), $40.6 million for child trauma services, and $34.7 million for first responder overdose reversal training, among others. Officials emphasized a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to save lives, strengthen communities, and promote long-term recovery.

2. Trump Accounts Go Live

CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz announced that children’s Trump Accounts are live. Trump Accounts are a new type of tax-advantaged custodial investment account (similar to an IRA) created for children under 18 under the 2025 reconciliation law.

Eligible American children can receive a one-time $1,000 government contribution (for those born 2025–2028), with families, employers, or others able to add up to $5,000 per year; the funds are invested primarily in low-cost U.S. stock index funds and become accessible when the child turns 18.

3. Weight Loss Drugs Available on Medicare

CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz commented on the Trump Administration’s push to expand access for Medicare beneficiaries to affordable GLP-1 medications for obesity, diabetes, and related chronic conditions.

According to Dr. Oz, “The number one buy-by-volume medication that’s being sold right now is GLP-1 medications. These are drugs that, as the President sometimes calls them, the ‘fat shots.’ They are designed to help people lose weight, but more important than just the weight loss is to make sure that the side effects of extra weight are addressed, which is hypertension, diabetes, fatty liver, kidney issues, a whole slew of other problems that accrue if you don’t have the right weight.”

4. Senator Johnson Accuses Medical Journal of Censorship Over Vaccine Article

Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) accused the editors of Toxicology Reports of censorship following their deletion of an article which discovered a link between childhood vaccines and sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).

According to Senator Johnson,

“Removal, as opposed to retraction, is the most extreme action a scientific journal takes against a published study.

Five years after publishing a peer-reviewed article examining a potential connection between SIDS and vaccines, Toxicology Reports removed it.

I've asked the journal and its owner, Elsevier, to explain why they committed this extreme act of censorship.”

The Wisconsin Senator published his full letter to the editor-in-chief of the publication and CEO of the company which owns the journal.

The letter is reproduced in full below:

“Dear Ms. Bayazit and Dr. Lash:

On April 9, 2026, the editorial board of Toxicology Reports removed from its website a 2021 article by Neil Z. Miller, entitled, ‘Vaccines and sudden infant death: An analysis of the VAERS database 1990-2019 and review of the medical literature.’ According to the removal notice, the decision was a result of ‘serious methodological flaws’ discovered in the article.

This decision was reportedly driven by anonymous comments made on a post-publication discussion board called PubPeer. The decision to remove this peer-reviewed article five years after the article was first published raises questions about the integrity of the scientific review process at the journal. I, therefore, request the production of documents pertaining to the article’s removal.

On June 24, 2021, following peer review, Toxicology Reports posted Miller’s article online. The article analyzed cases of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (‘SIDS’) in the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (‘VAERS’) and gave a comprehensive review of the medical literature. According to the article, the analysis ‘found that a substantial proportion of infant deaths and SIDS cases occurred’ shortly after vaccination. The paper noted, ‘[w]hile the findings . . . are not proof of an association between infant vaccines and infant deaths, they are highly suggestive of a causal relationship.’ Miller concluded in his article that ‘[a]dditional investigation is warranted.’

In November 2021, only a few months after its initial publication, two comments to the article were posted by an anonymous user on PubPeer, a popular post-publication discussion board. The comments provided links and screenshots to a Twitter thread by a user named ‘Rosewind.’

According to a May 26, 2026 article, ‘Magdalen R. Wind-Mozley, a former forensic scientist and vaccine advocate based in Newbury, England, condemned the analysis on X [under the username “Rosewind”] and contacted the journal in 2022 to call for [Miller’s article’s] retraction[.]’ It appears that there were no other comments posted on PubPeer prior to Toxicology Reports issuance of its removal notice.

According to reports, on December 18, 2025, four years after the comments were posted on PubPeer, Miller received an email from Toxicology Reports’ Editor-in-Chief, Lawrence Lash, raising ‘[c]oncerns from multiple parties’ regarding ‘potential research errors and misleading statements about vaccine efficacy’ contained in the article. Lash included a link to PubPeer and the Twitter thread and requested a response from Miller. Lash stated he would discuss Miller’s response with the ‘parties’ who had raised concerns about the article. Miller reportedly sent his responses to representatives of both Toxicology Reports and Elsevier, the owner of Toxicology Reports, though it is unclear when he submitted them.

According to an April 9, 2026 notice posted on Toxicology Reports’ website, Miller’s article was removed from the journal ‘at the request of the Editor-in-Chief.’ Regarding Miller’s analysis, the removal notice stated, in part, that ‘serious methodological flaws were identified in the use of VAERS data to infer a correlation between vaccination and sudden infant death syndrome[.]’ This given explanation for the removal, however, failed to acknowledge Miller’s own recognition of similar limitations in his article, where he noted that the data merely suggested a causal relationship warranting further investigation.

The removal of Miller’s article is not the first time anonymous comments on PubPeer have had an undue influence on scientific research. Just earlier this month, I held a hearing titled, ‘Plausible Mechanisms of COVID-19 Injections Causing Cancer and Attacks on Scientific Publications and Research.’ At this hearing, panelists, including Wafik El-Deiry, the director of Brown University’s Cancer Center, discussed the negative impact PubPeer has had on their careers, their research, and their ability to receive grant funding for further research.

I echo concerns raised by Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. in his June 11, 2026 letter to Lash regarding the removal of Miller’s article. As Secretary Kennedy wrote, ‘[t]he public deserves to know how and if the scientific publishing industry is taking its duty to ensure research integrity seriously and ethically.’ For too long the suffering of the vaccine injured has gone completely ignored by the legacy media and the scientific community.

On July 15, 2025, I held a hearing entitled, ‘Voices of the Vaccine Injured,’ where a number of individuals who suffered serious injuries and, in some instances, the death of a loved one following administration of various vaccines, courageously offered their testimony. During that hearing, I played a video where one grieving mother stated that at support group meetings for parents who had lost a child to SIDS:

“Every parent, every single parent there, would bring up vaccines and ask. Every story had vaccines involved. A lot of them, a child died the next day. That vaccines—high-pitched scream, projectile vomit, whatever, until they died within less than 24 hours. So we were all asking our SIDS support group leader, you know, is there a connection? Just seems like all of us feel like vaccines are involved.”

We owe it to this mother and all parents that have lost a child to SIDS to encourage and promote—instead of discourage and remove—medical research into the potential connection between vaccines and pediatric deaths. In order to better understand Elsevier’s and Toxicology Reports’ decision to remove Miller’s June 24, 2021 article from publication, please provide the following information:

All records referring or relating to the decision to remove the article, ‘Vaccines and sudden infant death: An analysis of the VAERS database 1990–2019 and review of the medical literature,’ from publication, including but not limited to: a. All peer reviews conducted on the article; b. Any concerns regarding the article brought to the attention of Toxicology Reports editorial board since its publication; c. All communications with Magdalen Wind-Mozley; d. All communications with Neil Z. Miller; e. All communications relating to the decision to remove the article; and f. All communications referring or relating to the article and PubPeer.

USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins announced the FIELDS (Fertilizer Investment & Expansion for Long-Term Domestic Supply) Program. At the core of the program is a $500 million investment aimed at increasing domestic fertilizer production.

According to the USDA Secretary, “The program will support both new and existing fertilizer facilities, prioritize projects that are ready to break ground, leverage private investment, and increase domestic production to strengthen America’s fertilizer supply chain. The goal is simple: more fertilizer made in America, lower input costs for our farmers, fewer supply chain disruptions, and less reliance on foreign nations. The test focuses on indicators like phosphorylated tau (p-tau217) to estimate when cognitive decline might begin. It builds on models that forecast symptom onset within a few years and advances personalized risk assessment for the disease.

1. Kennedy Terminates Covid Emergency Use Authorization Declarations

Secretary Kennedy announced the termination of the “COVID-19 Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) declarations for drugs and biological products and for medical devices,” concluding that the circumstances that justified these emergency authorities no longer exist.

According to Secretary Kennedy, “Americans deserve a regulatory system that is transparent, accountable, and rooted in the rule of law. By ending these COVID-19 emergency use authorization declarations, we’re reinforcing public confidence that emergency authorities are temporary and targeted.”

The HHS announcement does not directly impact the liability protections that multiple products associated with prior Covid-related EUAs enjoy.

The most well-known Covid-related products on the market will continue to enjoy PREP Act liability shields until December 31, 2029. This stems from a decision in the final weeks of the Biden administration to invoke the Twelfth Amendment to the PREP Act declaration, specifically extending liability immunity for the manufacturing, distribution, and administration of FDA-licensed or authorized Covid vaccines until the end of 2029. Such products include, but are not limited to, the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines and the Pfizer therapeutic Paxlovid.

Items that will eventually lose their liability shields as a downstream consequence of today’s directive are niche products that rely solely on an active EUA to remain on the market and that fail to transition to full FDA approval during the wind-down period.

The aforementioned category applies to unapproved emergency diagnostic test kits, uncleared personal protective equipment (PPE), or temporary pediatric formulation batches. Once their respective transition timelines expire [December 27, 2026 for medical devices (180 days) and June 30, 2027 for drugs and biologics (12 months)], any newly manufactured or administered doses of these specific unapproved products will be forced off the market, and any subsequent unauthorized distribution would strip them of PREP Act protections.
